COVID 19 & FLU UPDATES

Covid Vaccine -  We are hoping from the week begining 1/3/21 that the Waddington Hub will be receiving vaccines that are to be given as the second dose for all patients who recieved their first dose at the Waddington Hub in December 2020. The surgery will contact you when we know the dates and times.

We have been told that patients aged 65 to 68 will be written to by NHS England and offered to book into the Mass Vaccination Site at the Lincolnshire Showground.

When we know then we will contact you if you are in the group that we are allowed to invite to the clinic. 

For Information the Waddington Surgery is situated on the Crossroads in the village of Waddington. The post code is LN5 9NX and the surgery is on Mere Road, Waddington. There is plenty of Car parking at the surgery and has Disabled access and the use of a wheelchair if required.

If you are given the Pfizer vaccine you will have to wait 15 minutes at the surgey after being given the vaccine. If you are given the Astra Zeneca vaccine then you will only need to stay 15 minutes if you are driving.

Please do not ring the surgery asking for an appointment.

If you cannot get to Waddington due to the fact you are housebound then we will put you on a list to be contacted when we have the vaccine that can be transported to patients homes.

FLU CAMPAIGN FOR 50 TO 64 YEAR OLD - We are now able to offer the Flu vaccine to those patients aged 50 to 64 who do not have a long term condition. Please contact the surgery to arrange to have this important vaccination.
